Overview
Lightwell developed an outdoor, multi-user installation for the Amphibian & Reptile Conservation Centre (ARC) at Taronga Zoo. The installation is a motion-tracking interactive that introduces visitors to three ARC mascots - a snapping alligator turtle, frilled-neck lizard and corroboree frog - and the ways that these animals live sustainably in their environments.
Through a series of cooperative games, visitors can use their bodies to play as each of the animals. They can wave their arms to swim and catch prey, move their bodies to collect the sun’s rays or clap their arms to join the corroboree frog chorus.
