Writs to Referendums

Overview
Lightwell developed three digital interactives for the Writs to Referendums exhibition at the Museum of Australian Democracy. Visitors are greeted into the exhibition by flowing ballot papers moving across the floor and walls at the entrance. Motion-sensing cameras allow visitors to move the ballots, while an ambient soundscape creates the atmosphere of an election. Two touchscreen interactives also allow visitors to explore the unique nature of Australia’s electoral system. Visitors can discover images, facts, videos, explore animations, or test their knowledge of Australian elections.
