Parramatta WW1 Touchtables

Overview
We worked alongside the Parramatta Heritage Centre to transform their extensive database of WW1 soldiers from the Parramatta region into a searchable dual-touchscreen interface. 

Visitors can search alphabetically, by category, using keywords, or simply browse the grid of portraits to discover each soldier’s story. Visitors can also explore related service records, and can add a message to individual profiles if they have information about a particular soldier.

Lightwell created a fully-updatable content management system containing all the data within the table, which allows Centre staff to modify and add new records.
