Panorama Application

Overview
Situated in Karratha, Western Australia, the North West Shelf Visitors Centre provides visitors with a historical overview of the North West Shelf Gas Venture and, perhaps most importantly, a stunning panoramic view of the facilities. 

Lightwell created a unique iPad application, running on four devices distributed to visitors on arrival, that interprets key landmarks across the plant by simply holding up the device and pointing it at areas of interest. 

The visitor can traverse the exhibition space and pan/tilt the iPad to align the interface with the physical panorama. Selecting a landmark node displays relevant geographic data, factoids and high-res imagery.
