Old Dubbo Gaol Tour

Overview
In collaboration with Old Dubbo Gaol, Lightwell developed a map-based microsite to replace the Gaol’s exisiting paper maps. Visitors can use their mobile phones and QR codes located at the Gaol to access the web app. Once they have opened the app, they can navigate an illustrated map of the Gaol and explore point of interest nodes scattered across the site to discover images, documents and videos performed by the Old Dubbo Gaol staff that bring the history of the gaol to life. Other sections in the website include a resources page, information on how to visit the Gaol, tours and how to keep in touch. A bespoke content management system (CMS) developed by Lightwell also allows for content on the website to be updated anytime by staff at the Gaol.
