Overview
Lightwell worked with the National Art School to create a “touchless” flipbook interactive featuring animated pages from John Olsen’s art journals. This projected installation was displayed as part of the “John Olsen: Goya’s Dog” exhibition at the National Art School Galleries.
In line with Sydney’s Covid-19 restrictions, Lightwell worked closely with NAS to develop a “touchless” interactive for their exhibition. The final flipbook uses an Intel RealSense Camera to capture “hover” hand gestures to trigger page turns. The flipbook also features a number of animations that play out as visitors explore the journals.
