Evolution of the State Library of Victoria

Overview
Using site plans and historical photographs, a series of 3D models of the State Library of Victoria were constructed and orbited in VectorWorks, then composited in After Effects to create a single animation illustrating the growth of the library over time.

Graphic flags and pointers serve to indicate dates, changes and additions to the library throughout a period of 150+ years.

The animation was made for inclusion in the Free, secular and democratic: building the Public Library 1853-1913 exhibition at the State Library of Victoria.
