Overview
In collaboration with the Australian War Memorial and a number of communities across Australia, Lightwell developed the Places of Pride film for the Memorial’s Main Entrance. Displayed on a 9-screen wall, the production takes visitors on a journey around Australia showcasing a range of memorials, monuments, plaques and unique sites that commemorate those who served in times of war, conflict and peacekeeping operations.
Following an arc from dawn to dusk, the cinematic film plays on a continuous loop and covers over 40 locations nationwide.
Lightwell coordinated the full cinematography and video production for this project. The film is an extension of the Places of Pride project that seeks to record every war memorial across the country.
