Overview
In collaboration with Juluwarlu and the John Curtin Gallery, Lightwell developed an immersive installation for Yindjibarndi artist Alice (Guurruu) Guiness’ solo exhibition ‘Burndud Ground’. Running as part of Perth Festival 2025, the installation used RealSense motion-sensing cameras to track visitors as they walk amongst animated projections of Alice’s paintings.
A multi-channel soundscape combining songs of the Burndud with the unique sounds of Yindjibarndi Ngurra (Country) accompanied the projections.
